How Great is our God

“Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things.Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”Matthew 6:33-34 I have been re-reading the first four books of the New Testament. Our Lord and Savior came here on the earth like us 2,000 years to show and reveal and share how we should live here on the earth today. Not yesterday or tomorrow.Today.Glory!We Must not worry about tomorrow about anything.Sure, like Jesus tells us that tomorrow will worry about its own things. This morning I was driving across town with my great and awesome wife.Very shortly we will have been married 62 years.Glory! We have been so blessed all of these years. Both of us accepted Jesus into our hearts as young people but we were not taught that our Lord would speak to us so that in our life we could acknowledge Him ordering and directing our lives. The Lord had spoke to us many times but we did not acknowledge Him simply because we had not been taught about His greatness for us everyday. She Began singing HOW GREAT IS OUR GOD! It has now been fifty great years when I finally realized He loved me and I recognized His voice to me one morning. He was telling me how all of us when we die will be before Him and He will ask us what we have done in His name.Isn’t this great news to know that our loving God is looking forward to having us in Heaven with Him forever and ever.Glory! When I recognized His voice to me 50 years ago it truly changed my life.I had been involved in trying to make our government to fit into my mind.I had published a newspaper called “THE FIGHTING AMERICAN” for a few years and when the Lord spoke to me after filling me with His great Holy Spirit He told me to no longer be involved in politics. What a great way of rest this gave me and it is still the same today. “First of all, then, I admonish and urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be offered on behalf of all men, For kings and all who are in positions of authority or high responsibility, that (outwardly) we may pass a quiet and undisturbed life (and inwardly) a peaceable one in all godliness and reverence and seriousness in every way.For such (praying) is good and right, and (it is) pleasing and acceptable to God our Savior.” 1 Timothy 2:1-3 Isn’t that an awesome word from the heart of our God.So be it for each of us in His great and lovely name.
