GRACE and PEACE1 -381

“Grace to you and peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ.” Galatians 1:3
“Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.” Ephesians 1:3
“Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Thess. 1:1
Do you think that the Apostle Paul really wanted to share this awesome message to us over and over. The Lord truly shared this truth with us more than these three verses but I thought it was pretty great to share them in this short devotional.
Our God loves to bless us. He tells us that “blessings shall come upon you and overtake you.” Our God is watching us 24/7 and in His heart he wants to overtake us with His blessings. Think about this verse from Deut. 28:2. Our God so loves us and wants to overtake us with His blessings. Glory! Yeah, the devil wants to overtake us but not with blessings.
Jesus tells us that the devil comes to kill, steal and destroy but that He comes to give us life and give it in abundance. Jesus spent much of His time here on the earth in bringing forth healing. It is very good to read this in Acts.
“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.” Acts 10:38
We are told in Hebrews 13:8 that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. We need to confess this everyday and thank the Lord for this truth and that He is not able to lie to us. He does not want to lie to us.
Jesus fulfilled the blessings in Deut. 28 and because He is the same today He still wants to fulfill all the blessings in Deut. 28 for us. So we must take His grace and peace each day with true thanksgiving in our hearts. By His love and grace we can believe God for His blessings.
May God fill you today with His love, mercy, grace and peace. Amen and Amen. Homer Owen
