“and He has showered down upon us the richness of His grace—for how well he understands us and knows what is best for us at all times.” Ephesians 1:8 The Living Bible The translation of this verse in all of the bibles is great. I chose The Living Bible because they used the word understand of which I feel the Lord wants me to share with you in your walk with HIM. It is great to fully grasp the fact that our Lord and Savior and on and on understands everything about us. Praise God He wants us to understand how much he cares for us and all of his thoughts about us is positive. This all happened before the foundation of the world. Yes, we need to understand this fact. We have been in his heart a long time. This first chapter in Ephesians tells us a great deal of his plans and purposes for us and he wants us to understand them. We are to receive our inheritance from him that covers everything. How great is his will for us. Glory! “I have never stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly, asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you wisdom to see clearly and really understand who Christ is all he has done for you.” Ephesians 1:17-18 I want to encourage you to thank the Lord for Paul and all of his prayers for you. I see the possibility that Paul is still praying for us today as he is seated with Christ today. The Lord will be glad to hear us thanking him for Paul. We are going to love our time with them both when we are gone from here and arrive home in heaven. But, the fact is that we are seated with Christ in heaven now. Glory! “If then you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things that are on the earth.” Colossians 3:1-2 There are quite a few verses that has the word “understand” in them. It will be good for you to look up this word and read the verses telling you more about the desire of the Lord in wanting you to grasp how much he loves you and how he wants you to understand all of his plans and purposes so you can walk with him in great joy.
