Almost five decades ago our beloved America was deeply convulsed and violently shaken to its very soul, as the unifying inner fabric of our nation was nearly ripped apart over our country’s mind-numbing and never ending war in Vietnam. Over the length and breadth of our land young and old marched, burned draft cards, rioted, and even spilled blood when National Guard troops and law enforcement clashed with unruly crowds and on several different occasions fired shots indiscriminately into groups of protesters, as officials tried in vain to put an end to -”Hell no, we won’t go!”.
Millions upon millions of Americans demonstrated across our nation in almost every city and college campus, calling for our leaders to stop the senseless war with its toll of human carnage and suffering. And when the end finally did come, fifty-eight thousand (58,000) U.S. troops lay dead and too many to count were maimed for life.
The mindless struggle also left over four million Vietnamese civilians and soldiers from both sides dead, along with far more whom lived on with mangled bodies from the ravages of modern warfare at its horrifying worst. Their country was left with countless orphans of whom many were Amerasians-children of U.S servicemen. Sadly, many many of these children had mutilated bodies too. The only consolation was the utter relief most felt, while thanking God, that at least the war was finally over.
UNBELIEVABLY, IRONICALLY, and SHAMEFULLY in the exact same month and year (January, 1973), as the Paris Peace Accords were signed, politically terminating America’s quagmire in Vietnam, the United States Supreme Court infamously ruled in the Roe vs. Wade case, which allowed by law, the aborting and killing of more innocents. Appallingly and staggeringly, to date, OVER 55 million lives have been mutilated and killed!! Horrendously, this mind boggling unmitigated mass killing causes even the Vietnam blood bath to look like only a pin prick! Shockingly it rivals ALL THE DEATHS of every nation, both civilian and military, in ALL OF World War II! Please stop for a moment and consider the REAL MAGNITUDE of this crime against God and His creation!
Our Supreme Court with its ruling, reduced these unborn babies to be less than human, similarly to laws back in the 1800s that legally, but absolutely and unjustly reduced black lives to only being 60% human, as only politicians and human judges can wrongfully do! Since that date, January 1973, in which the Vietnam War ended and baby killing effectively became legal, our country has slaughtered the equivalent of nearly One Thousand (1,000) Vietnam Wars of more dead Americans!! This is not a misprint. I repeat- 1,000 Vietnam Wars of dead Americans in the last 40 plus years! And we are either totally oblivious or at best indifferent to the massive depravity that’s happening everyday right under our shameless noses! And these deaths were not like our 58,000 dead soldiers, who at least were armed and had a fighting chance! These innocents were and are the MOST DEFENSELESS of all our citizens-UNBORN BABIES, whom can only jerk their tiny arms and legs and shake their little bodies during the “procedure” while they are being gruesomely and sadistically dismembered and destroyed, as they eventually succumb to their brutal murder. [Fetus is Greek for “small child”, to dress up and cover the savage deed, it’s also like using the term “pro-choice” instead of “ pro-murder” to make it appear to be less offensive.]
AND WHEN YOU THINK THIS MASS GENOCIDE COULD GET NO WORSE, NOW COMES EVEN MORE SICKENING AND GRISLY REVELATIONS -these little babies are being HARVESTED FOR THEIR ORGANS AND TISSUES!!! This is heartbreaking beyond heartbreaking! Is there no decency left in America?
And yet incredibly, but not surprisingly, the front line perpetrators -Planned Parenthood AND its enlightened advocates- piously defend and cover up this evil work, (like saying little hearts and livers are only blobs of tissue) not unlike the cruel and fiendish Nazi Doctor of experimentation, a child mutilator too, Josef Mengele, who did his blood letting under the guise of helping and benefiting mankind too!
How long can we go on shedding the blood of these innocent and defenseless little ones? How Long? How Long? While most of us “preoccupied with me” Americans, just sit around and look the other way.
On the other hand, how long did it take from the time the heinous butcher of Philadelphia, Dr. Kermit Gosnell and his abortion mill (which literally left a stench in the neighborhood) were exposed in graphic detail by news outlets, before the prosecutor quickly did a plea deal to get this ghoulish monster with a seared conscience out of the public eye, so as to not disturb our delicate psyches or to cast a bad light on the Doctor’s “noble” profession.
Like it or not, we are a carbon copy of polite German society who also used sanitized terms like “the final solution” in the 1930s and 40s, while sipping wines and savouring dainties. We, like them, “profess how wise we are”, while our soil is soaked in the blood of our innocent unborn! “She eats, and wipes her mouth, and says, I have done no wickedness.”
Where are the demonstrators, where are the marchers, where are the protesters, where is the crying in our land for the voiceless?? America has pridefully and callously lost her way! A thousand Vietnams and we snooze.
God says “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin, and I will heal their land”. The Lord hates “a proud look, a lying tongue,and hands that shed innocent blood”. As a nation, we need to “awaken out of slumber” we need to corporately cry out for His loving forgiveness and forsake our wicked ways while it is still today. Please pray for our country to stop the killing and CALL our national leaders continuously to this end! Individually, “God is longsuffering to us, and not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (go a different way)”. “God commended His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” and “the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared.” He says, “not by good works by us, but according to His mercy He saved us”. Our loving God pleads with us “whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved”-Romans 10:13, He offers each of us a free gift, which is a paid in full pardon for all our sins to anyone who will accept. Christ already paid the full price of our sin by giving His life on the cross in our stead. John 1:12; 3:16;19:30, Romans 6:23. When you humbly receive this gift, God immediately raises your dead spirit to new life in Christ forever 2nd Corinthians 5:17, and gives “a peace which passes all understanding to keep our hearts and minds”. Philippians 4:6 This was the “greatest news” I ever heard in my life, “that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.”
Please, please consider God’s unconditional love and forgiveness today! God’s “mercies are new every morning” and He desires to “show the exceeding riches of His grace and His kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.” He longingly aches to give us new hearts and new life in Christ. God desires that even Dr. Gosnell would humble himself and “take the water of life freely”- God’s divine gift of grace and forgiveness! Just as Saul of Tarsus did 2,000 years ago, while he was on his own death mission, killing and destroying Christians, when DEEP IN HIS HEART HE HEARD GOD’S LOVING CALL. In simple faith he believed God and cried out for Jesus Christ to be his Lord and Saviour. And God immediately gave him new life in Christ! He became a humble servant of our Lord and his name was changed to Paul. God says “where evil does abound, grace does much more abound”. Only through the love and power of the Lord Jesus Christ can the great curse of death be stayed! Please take God’s LOVING gift of forgiveness for your sin and new life today!
