LO, I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS

"LO, I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS" Jesus said, "Lo, I am with you always, even unto the end." (Matthew 20:20). So, to you who believe, it doesn''t matter how alone you feel sometimes, you''re never truly alone. For the Presence of God is in you wherever you are. When the enemy tries to hone in on your aloneness, just become still and remember that GOD''S WORD stands forever. For God is not a man that He should lie. One writer wrote: "Nearer is He than breathing, and closer than hands and feet." Furthermore, how can we be separate from our Source? When, in HIM we live, and move, and have our very being? Once you acknowledge this divine connection, you need never feel separate or isolated again. President William Taft on leaving the Oval office in 1913 said: "I''m glad to be going. This is the loneliest place in the world." So you could be in the most crowded place in the world and still be lonely. But was Jesus lonely when He spent forty days and forty nights in the Wilderness? The Bible said that He spent times alone, but there was never any mention of Him being lonely, for He was in constant communion with the Father. For one of the most rewarding experiences of life is to be alone...to be still...to listen spiritually..and to meditate on God''s Word. That''s a sure cure for loneliness. The story is told of a man who fell asleep while walking on a beach one night. He dreamt he saw two sets of footprints and believed that one was of God Himself. But when he became fearful, he could see only one set. Thinking he was deserted, he cried out: "Why did you leave me?" The voice replied: "I will never leave you nor forsake you. When you saw only one set of footprints; it was then that I carried you!" So, when life presents its un-exspected, insurmountable obstables - remember..."LO, I''M WITH YOU ALWAYS - EVEN UNTO THE END OF THE WORLD". (JESUS)
